I been thinking lately ( I know, dangerous) about how Denver`s defense from the very beginning of the year, set goals for themselves and for their unit. To be the #1 ranked D at end of the season. Plus the individual goals that some players such as Von for one, and it has shown for the most part aside from 2nd half last week. They still have a shot and the desire to be great. That`s what this offense needs to do now for remainder of season. Set some goals for yourselves and for the offense as a unit. Whether it be rush yds gained, sacks allowed,Pts scored or whatever, set some goals. I don`t think they have or had any all year and it shows by the lack of intensity and effort for a whole game. More often than not,if you set goals, your level of play, concentration, PRIDE. etc., instills a newfound resurgence from within and you find yourself and your team, doing things that you were sceptical of before and this amazing confidence starts oozing thru your system and becomes contagious!! I want to throw the challenge flag out to you offensive players to challenge yourselves and your teammates to find a goal and give it every single ounce of energy and worth into it and see what it can get you!! ( I`ve got this urge right now to fly to Philly and runup this long flight of stairs with an American flag and just wave it and jump all over and stuff and things:)). Back to being serious.... I think that would be good and positive for this unit. I know, prob wasting my breath, etc but it can really work if they would take the challenge and find some way to motivate. Ok, I`am done Cheers!

I think Brock has handled himself as well as could be expected, and he has shown that there is legitimate star potential with his play . I see a guy who has the balls and desire to get out there and do what is required to win, as it seems as if he is a natural leader ....

It is probably one of the most difficult spots in any sport - for an unproven QB to come in midseason and gain the trust of the team ... Not only has he done that, but he's done it on a team that had been lead by Peyton Manning, a team with the number one defense in the league, and a team that has one of the most patchwork offensive lines in football ...

The gut check must come from Demaryius Thomas and Vernon Davis .. We've got a rookie QB coming in and doing everything he has been asked, and the two "star" pass catchers have ( so far ) completely spit the bit ...

One of the most important things though:

CONVERT 3RD DOWNS !!!!

8 for 8 3rd down conversions in that first half

Brock has the same problem all young QB's have, he holds onto the ball way too long trying to make plays. He knows he has the mobility to move around in the pocket but sometimes that does more harm than good.

He's got the arm strength and accuracy to make any throw on the field so the ability to read when it's time to throw the ball away will come in time.

I hear ya brothers! If there is a crank for this offense - crank it!

Oz has shown me a lot - they need to give me a little more room to improvise - or he needs to feel more comfortable and less cautious. The thing is - he has gotten the ball there in big situations only to have a penalty or a drop happen.

I agree Mingo. There is a lot of flack at Oz whenever denver loses and it usually from people who don`t watch the game/ Denver/or even understand the situation there. Yeah he does hold the ball to long at times and indecisive at times but guys like DT,Davis and the rbs haven`t done him any favors ( we won`t even mention O-line) and many of those drops were drive killers. Anyone that that says he`s not the future or Manning would be better are just idiots at this point anyway. The "KID" is just now getting his feet wet and under a lot of pressure to boot plus a run game that disappears from one half to the other and these fools blame it on Oz. Stupid. Give him a full offseason to prepare and watch out.I don`t know if he is the answer but one thing for sure is he has not had any help for the most part. I have a lot of faith that with a better supporting cast in front of him and players that will do their jobs especially with a young guy that needs them to step up and keep his confidence a flow of game going, gives me a lot of hope for Broncos QB position going forward. Love ya OZ and Merry Christmas and kick some butt buddy and don`t listen to the media and all those clueless wanta B football experts!.:)

Yeah, I mean, looking at Oz, he is thrust into this tough spot, and has come thru

Is this QB who has started all of 5 NFL games the weak link on offense ??

No freakin' way

The OL and Thomas have been the ones who have let us down .. I'll put Davis there too, but at least Davis has blocked pretty well

I liked Randymon's post, but I would now vote for it as a Winner.

On defense the Broncos cut loose and play on instinct - on the offensive side of the ball - not so much - they just stick to the script.
