I think this is the first test of the "new attitude" team. Last year this would be one of those "trap" games where you get lulled and beaten by a team you should smoke. How much of that was the Richards/Carter syndrome and how much was/is something else....

Wow. I knew Ottawa was bad but they are very bad. That was one ugly 2 man advantage they had. That being said, last years team would be trailing right now I think. This years team is fast, strong, and don't slack off. They keep pressing and that is what I love to see.

This fucking team took the period off it looked like. Failing to clear pucks out of the zone and Walker was lost on the Ottawa goal. Keep the pressure on guys. Ottawa is not in the same league, therefore, kick them in the fucking balls and score more goals. That was a boring period. Walker looked like ass during his fight and Also was the fault of the Spezza goal.

One amazing period, one aweful and one that was a scrap...still not great, but better. Anyone wonder as bad as the Sens looked how many goals/points Lindros/Leclair and Renberg would have racked up? That is the difference .... that line never stopped trying to score or keeping pressure on.

Why Walker started over Lilja is something we may never know.

We looked drop dead amazing...at times. 60 minutes and less penalties please. Try to keep the 7 goals per game thing going.

I did like Walker knocking Konopka around at the end. Pretty much a mismatch but still entertaining. The Ottawa announcers were salivating over Harry Z goal. Dude is fast.

walker played because of chris neal, end of story. i thought it was great he stood up for the young guys.
