They are going to win it.

I mean, sure, everybody still has a chance. But the Coyotes are pretty done now. The Devils can't beat this team. I'd say the Rangertshave a slim chance IF they beat New Jersey, but that would likely go to 7 anyway. Only so many times you can take a series to 7 games, squeak out a win, and still have enough in the tank to take on a team with more and deeper talent.

So congrats, Kings.

I'll be the first to put it out there. And if they don't win, feel free to bump this thread in perpetuity and make me look like an ass.

Operaloco never appears in this thread. It's an annual tradition whereby only four words are changed.

I'm inclined to agree with the OP...no one has shown any ability to hang with the Kings right now during this tear

In any event, it's pretty bold to pick the Kings to win it all considering they have a 3-0 lead over the Yotes, and would only need to beat 1 other team to get the Cup.

I wait to pick the team I think will win the cup when the first team in the SCF wins 3 games.

I'm sure that the Devils or Rags will give them all they can handle.

I could see the Rangers hanging with them for a good series but I'm not sure that the Kings couldn't handle an old-man Marty Brodeur in the net.

I actually think either the Rangers or Devils can beat the Kings. The Rangers especially because of their big shot blocking defense.

I'd say the biggest risk to the Kings right now is themselves.

The way they've manhandled everyone so far, I don't think NJ or NYR would stand a chance.

But if LA lets this quick success get to their heads (not to mention the possibility of a very long layoff), it could hurt them.

Remember last year the Cancuks came off a 5 game series win and the Bruins a 7 gamer. The Bruins seemed to have more gas the last couple of games.

I think series length before the series is overrated for all but maybe Game 1. Kings do look hard to beat at the moment, however.

Either the Devils or the Rangers will be very difficult to beat. Especially NY since they have a goalie to match Quick.
