I'm not so sure the Jays can take the Royals. Jays' starters leave a lot to be desired, unless Stroman comes back and fucking kills it.

I do, however, think the Yankees can take the Royals because the Yankees don't seem like they want to wither and fucking die, so...

Is weird that I wouldnt favor the Cardinals vs any other NL playoff team in a series?? With the playoffs and the shortening of rotations I just dont see a team that the Cards matchup well with.

Until this week they had an outstanding pitching staff from top to bottom.

Last year everyone picked based on who had the best starting pitching and all of those teams lost. Its about which team is the deepest.

They still do have a GREAT staff. Problem for STL is that in a series you re probably only pitching your top 3 and they certainly dont have as good of a number 1 as the Dodgers/Pirates or Cubs and when that is 2 or 3 games in a 7 game series it makes it so much tougher to win a series. Thats why I picked the DOdgers to win the series. I dont think theyre the best team but they will be extremely tough to beat in a best of 7 with throwing Kershaw and Greinke 4 of the 7 games.

Grienke/Kershaw has been beat 2 years in a row, not that tough to beat I guess, but they do look like they are both hot this year.
