Gio Bernard for Chris Johnson and Bryce Brown (Handcuff)

I have McCoy and really want his hand cuff. I dont feel like I need to show my roster since its just a rb deal. What do you think? Johnson has struggled, but the second half of his schedule is a lot lighter than the first.

Can't really answer that one. Taking on Chris Johnson is a gut call and personal preference. We can all see his "light" schedule as great potential, but in reality, he can't hit a hole, can't break a tackle, and isn't the goal line back. I don't want any part of Chris Johnson, and am glad I let him pass by in all my drafts.

I'm sure Brown is obtainable without involving starters, is he not?

I tried trading almost every one of my bench players for him and he won't budge. I feel like he's holding onto brown only because I want him.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Chris Johnson = your team will lose. Gio Bernard is not only running better than CJ0K these days, but he's heavily involved in the passing game. Another thing I'll say is this - you want Brown as a handcuff, but if for some reason McCoy went down, I'd rather have Gio than Brown. Brown not only still has issues, but would almost certainly be splitting some time with Chris Polk.

I don't hate the trade, but I also don't like it.

This year has been different in terms of injuries, so if you're into handcuffs (which I'm not), consider this: of WRs drafted (or likely to be drafted) in the first three rounds, Harvin, Crabtree, Julio and Cobb have been lost for most or all of the season; for RBs drafted in the first three rounds, SJAX is the only one missing time and is expected back soon.

(That kind of injury rate for WRs is very unusual, btw, but this year looks like the norm. And I didn't even include Alexander and Maclin.)

So no, I wouldn't degrade my starters for the sake of a RB handcuff. On the other hand, CJ1K may not really be so bad ROS, which is why I don't hate the trade.

To me, it is all about who you think is better Benard or chris Johnson... If you like johnson then consider Brown icing on the cake, but he is not enough to downgrade...
