Thinking back to yesterday’s disgusting loss, one that is very capable of breaking the team’s spirit if they don’t have short term memory. Especially when most of these guys are still so damn young

A call up like this is to help the team reset imo and it’s definitely a good thing.

But it also Don’t matter when you still have the idiot Servais managing this team..... let’s hope he doesn’t ruin Gilbert.

This all has been perfect strategy for people keeping their jobs. None of it makes baseball sense, but all makes job keeping sense. So Mariners, but we all will enjoy it until we all realize it is just another failed attempt at keeping our interest for another year.

this is kinda what I am wondering as well. In terms of overall talent, they clearly still arent there but it might be the shot in the arm this team definitely leaves

I had originally heard that Kelenic was joining the M's at Thursday's game and then Gilbert would be coming up on Friday or Saturday and when I heard that, I thougt to my self the only reason they were staggering bringing those two up was so ownership would have another sellout, one for Kelenic and one for Gilbert and rake in the money..... but I'm guessing with only about 9K allowed it's probably already sold out anyway. I think it's a joke how they have handled Kelenic. Ownership is way of base (no pun intended) and management needs to take a hike and be replaced with professional, competent, hungry to win people. Servais is a very poor excuse for a manager and I hold Dipoto 100% accountable for that. All Servais is, is just JD's yes man. LA didn't dump Dipoto because he would be an excellent GM. 5 years in, It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see his choice for team manager doesn't add up for a post season playoff. If ownership had any baseball sense and truly wanted a winning baseball team, Servais would be gone, even if it meant Dipoto would be gone also. Just my take on things.

hurray..for kelenic..hurray..for gilbert....we all know we need them up..but .....if..... you are bringing those guys..2 other guys will be sent down
one will be dfaed..cuz gilbert is not on the 40 man

may as well make the dfa José Marmolejos 26...trying to get him to tacoma..for some at bats...if some other team picks him...on waivers
then ya move on...............but ya have to have room..on the 40 man for gilbert
then bring up

kelenic..and send down trammell.....which.is even even...on that one

then

don walton..for 2nd base...with moore and haggerty..as backup..is only a matter of sending a pitcher down..
witch they will need either swanny or Ljay newsome there ...if gilbert comes anyway

let france........DH....../ !STbase/3b

so..the line up

1 .haniger...........RF.....haggerty
2 .kelenic..........LF......L/L....well give him a shot..here anyway..backup..haggerty
3. france.............DH
4. seager.............3B....L/L
5 .lewis..................CF........kelenic...haggerty
6 white..................1b
7.walton.................2b.....L/L..moore..haggerty
8 murphy./torrens...catch
9. crawford..............SS...L/L

10 torrens..catch
11 haggerty
12 moore

if walton comes...and bats..above 200...right now,,..then the mariners are better off....if not...well send him back down...but it gives moore and haggerty...more..moore than haggerty
some breathing room
and

time to adjust...this is the prob with moore..is...its all in..his head...thinking..batting process

dang
funky junk...bump...get over the hump

Baseball America 2021-2022 International bonus board is out; Mariners favored to sign two, including no. 5 overall
By Joe E. Doyle@JoeDoyleMiLB Mar 2, 2021, 9:46am PST
at dsl..and international signs..or rumbling of signs

On Tuesday, Baseball America released their annual international signing bonus big board, this edition for the 2021-2022 signing class. The Mariners are listed as the favorites to sign two of the top 30 prospects on the board. While we were aware of Dominican shortstop Martin Gonzales, ranked no. 18 overall on the board, the big surprise came with Seattle listed as the favorite to sign no. 5 overall prospect Lazaro Montes, a 1B/OF out of Cuba.

2019 and 2020 weren’t quite as beefy in terms of star power for the Mariners in the international signing period, but that appears to be changing course for the immediate future. Montes and Gonzales figure to eat up a decent chunk of the team’s bonus pool. In 2022-2023, the team is expected to sign shortstop Felnin Celesten to a bonus much larger than any international signing in team history
