What is amazing about the COWBOY'S drafts in the 1967 - 1984 era (15 seasons without the big trade ups) was;
(outside of the three trade up years 1974, 1975, 1977 in the draft)
The COWBOYS did not have a draft pick any lower than 20 in the first round!!!!
The average draft pick was 31st overall. And look at the list of players the COWBOYS acquired......Simply amazing
Gil and Tex were incredible
