Man it's got to be tough right now for the Giants pitchers. Early in the year the pitching struggled when the starters broke out of the gate slow. The hitters were doing alright back then and then the injuries hit and the offense has gone south.
Cain threw a good game again tonight and has nothing to show for it. The hitters are in a full court press and are stressed. It's hard to watch. The grind continues.
The silver lining if there is one is that the starters are coming around and next year looks promising . Vogelsong is coming back and we get to see where he is. Looking forward to see Vogelsong back. Giants need him again next year and these starts coming up will be interesting to watch.
You just have to take one day at a time and hope for progress and positive steps going into next year.
The ball is in Sabean's court right now who has some big decisions to make this off season.
