GM Jon Horst confirms that the Bucks will offer a 5-years / 247M super max contract to Giannis before the 20-21 season starts. At that point Giannis will be eligible for a contract extension but will still have another season left before his previous contract expires.

Giannis confirmed during multiple interviews he had in Greece that he plans to accept the contract extension which will be offered to him by the Bucks, because he is very satisfied with the organization and wants to win the NBA title with the Bucks.

On the same interview, GM Jon Horst said that the Bucks governors have no objection to go above the luxury tax threshold, but "they have to do it at the right time" (obviously during the 1st season that Giannis contract extension will count in the books)...

So in 2020/21 the Warriors have $43m for Steph, $35m for Klay, and $28m to D'Angelo (although he'll probably get traded). And thats assuming Draymond isn't going to re-sign.

So where is this money coming from?

Warriors would have to deal D'Lo and Draymond to make it work. Wouldn't be the worst thing if Giannis just told the Bucks he was leaving no matter what to get those two in return. They'd be on 2 year contracts at the time and would allow them to still be competitive in the East.

There would be ways to get it done. It would be EXTREMELY difficult to do it and everything would need to go the Warriors way to get it done. But I'm 100% sure the Warriors have already internally explored options for this.

Well Ramona Shelburne... You should have known better before making such a ridiculous statement out of your mind in national TV...

This is what happened with one of your fellow reporters that did the same:

You are now on Giannis' black list Ramona!

Perhaps the most interesting video was posted today to the Bucks Fb page...

14 teams passed on Giannis during the 2013 draft...

Here is a reminder of what they picked instead...

Apparently, it seems that the entire press is laughing (and then it does so on national TV) against the NBA fining the Bucks GM for ...tempering!

GM Horst committed "the crime" of confirming that the Bucks plan to offer Antetokounmpo the $250 million supermax contract next summer, when Giannis is still under contract and when no other team can offer Giannis anything!
