# 2 seed Wawrinka loses in straight sets to Feliciano Lopez in AEGON.

Murray loses in straight sets to Jordan Thompson in AEGON.

Raonic loses in straight sets to Kokkinakis in AEGON. So yes, the top 3 seeds are out in the first round.

Marin Cilic and Isner set to play.

I think grass is Isner's worst surface.

He's the worst on the ATP at breaking, and grass is even harder to break on. So he can never break an opponent.

I wonder what his break % is on grass compared to other surfaces.

No way. His serve is almost unreturnable so it evens out if not more so. Still Hard courts are better for him because of height. Clay has some advantages too on his second serve and even higher bounce but he does not move well enough on it.

Crazy thing is compared to the other GS events, it does seem like Grass is his worst surface. It is the only major where he never made it to the 4th round. He made it to the 4th round at least 2X at the other 3 majors.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of. His history at grass and how far he goes.

The only good grass result is him winning Newport 2x, but that tourney is filled with 423 ranked players as most top players skip it since it's just 2 weeks after Wimbledon.

Nice job Donald Young, beating Troicki.

I might actually DVR tomorrow. He only has 10 career 3rd rounds or better in all career tournaments.

So this is a good accomplishment for him.

Don't know when the next time I'll get to see Donald Young playing at high stakes for him.

(He did make the 4th round of both Indian Wells and Miami this year).

Considering that Donald Young was in the Finals of the French Open doubles, along with his singles in Indian Wells and Miami, this might be his best career year.

Yup, I see him every year at Newport.

Wow, Federer is playing Mischa Zverev tomorrow. Mischa's style combined with grass is worth watching.

I thought I put both of you on it. Hopefully this one came out right

Yup, that's a successful multi-quote.

Personally I like forums with nested quoting. So you can see the previous quotes leading up to the most recent one.

Otherwise you have to find those individual quotes and add them.

But, this forum is set up to only quote the most recent quote (1 level deep).

As this is a large forum with a few admins, it's not my decision to make.

I also think it's weird how I can see a "useful" post rating icon on the Tennis subforum. But not one of the other sub forums.

I asked one of the admins why, and he said "no idea".

If it were me, I'd try to figure out why, or get help from the Xenforo support community, to figure out why it's like that. That kind of inconsistency is weird to me. :)

I want to see Mischa Zverev vs. Mardy Fish.

That would be so much volleying.

Fed's form is less than impressive. He needs to be crisper.

Zverev vs Fed again. This kid is dangerous. Gasquet played fine but the kid just pulled away in the match. Federer needs to be sharper than today in the final.
