Adam Scott gets back in the winners circle after 3 winless PGAT seasons.

Australian Presidents Cup pact propels Scott to summit at Riviera

It really looked like the golf course was winning on Sunday...at least for the final couple of groups...Scott was one of 3 guys tied for the lead coming at -10....a nice pack at -9 and -8...Rory shot 73 (+2), Kuchar 72 (+1).

Tiger shot 77, Spieth, 76...speaking of.

Is the run at the top over for Jordan Spieth?

What a final Sunday. Rory wasn't himself at all and I was honestly expecting Scott to lose it as well but kudos to him for winning!

I'm starting to see more and more with Rory...when the driver is working consistently, he's at another level, can win any time against any field.

But when it's not...the rest of his game is not consistently good enough to win.

Yeah, if the driver is "bad" (for his standards) it seems to really get into his head

He won a Euro event I recall and he didn't really bomb it straight on Sunday, but it's such a big advantage when he's got it going that I guess I can't blame him for leaning on it as much as he does.

I remember Phil and Tiger winning tournaments hitting 8 or 9 fairways per round for the whole week. But they were Chief scramblers...Rory is more of a 11 or 12 fairways and 15 greens type 65.
