This teak is a step up from the last three we have played. I wasn't to see solid puck and player movement. Keep the special teams going and play the body.

Good first period. Clowe and Burrows take matching minors before the puck drops. Thornton and Pavelski score, Clowe wins a fight against Kassian and Niemi had a really nice kick save near the end of the period.

On the subject of Boyle, his minutes must be reduced because he looks great this season. He doesnt look worn down at all like he has the part of the last 2 seasons. I'd imagine if Burns comes back and he's down to the third pairing he will look even better.
