......so I heard the Sharks were forced to stay in Vancouver and had to fly into Calgary in the afternoon. Flying into town on a game day is bad. I guess that was the reason for the Sharks not having any legs in another shit fest game.

Don't think they were forced to... they planned to spend the night in Vancouver all along.

The Canucks got stranded in Vancouver on Saturday night and almost missed their game in Calgary on Sunday due to the snow storm (and lost 4-2) so they actually had a legit excuse.

The Sharks lost just because they suck.

That was hideous last night!!!!! What happened to the memo from the Nashville game to shoot more? How can you go 10 minutes without a shot against one of the worst defensive teams in the league? And Joe Thornton. He was the worst player on the ice. Passes to no one, high turnovers, won't shoot. Fucking lazy. Gets lucky on a goal, on the 30 seconds the top line decided to do a little work. Man he looks old. Even older with that awful looking beard. Starting to resemble the Geico caveman there. This team night in and night out is unwatchable. Thankfully, I get to see it for free on TV but I am not paying one dime to see this shit in person this year. Good ole Griese found out too last night like Niemi, give up 2 goals and you are doomed.

I used to do everything I can to watch the games live from 1st period thru 3rd period. Get off work early, have the wife take care of the kids, etc. When I didn't have this feeling at the start of the season, I thought it was just me slowly getting back into hockey mode and being pissed at the NHL for the lockout.

But after watching the Sharks over the past month, I find myself caring less and less. I don't consider myself a fairweather fan, but it's as if I've been married to them for decades and that passion is just gone. I know I still care because I'm upset when they lose. I still love them, I'm just not in love with them.

The Sharks have scored 3 goals in a game only once in the past 17 games (in a 5-3 loss). I'm ready to see a new direction with this team. Perhaps one more desperation attempt to get them back on track. Fire Todd. If that doesn't work, rebuild time.
