Just guessing here, but I don't think they will rush him back. I think that is just a estimate of when they think he will be back but there is a long way to go. The good news is it sounds like it was a clean tear and didn't involve over parts of the knee so the doctors are really optimistic about a successful recovery.

Carson Wentz's injury was far worse, and he came back in what? 9 months? Even at the end of that spectrum, you're looking at July/August.

He'll be back by next year acl injuries aren't the career threatening injury they use to be. It also happened early enough in the year to allow for the proper recovery time.
