Garcon to break Monks record

The only good thing about this season is Garcon needs 2 catches to break Monks all time reception record for a season. The funny thing is that Garcon is one of the league leaders in drops. Anything over 100 receptions would be outstanding. The way Cousins is throwing the ball he might get to 110. You cant tell me that Garcon doesn't love this offense or the Shannys. If I was Morris or Garcon I would storm into Dannys office and beg to keep the Shannys. Its so obvious the real problem was RG3 not the offensive system.

I agree, I think he will. His smallest reception total in any game this season is 5, and he's only done that twice.

I hope he gets the record and gets nationally recognized. He could get the NFL leader in receptions this year too. I want the spotlight on someone else other than RG3. Maybe it will attract FA to come here.

Seriously the MAIN reason players come play for the Redskins is so they can get a huge payday from Snyder. Yes Snyder has spent wiser past few seasons but your kidding yourself to think if Snyder wants a player bad enough that he wont open up his check book and sign the player for a fortune no matter what everyone is telling him.

There are now a lot more good reasons to come to DC and RG3 still and is one of them.

Records will continue to be broken in this new age of flag/fantasy football. Garcon will probably break Monk's season record, just like Romo will break all Cowboy QB records...but, at the end of the day will they have a Super Bowl ring like #81?

I think the debate is whether or not he is an elite, or top 15 WR in the league ... deserving of the contract that we gave him.

Having another threat playing opposite would help. Similar to the Bears with Marshall & Jeffery.

I believe Garcon has proven to be a Legit# 1 receiver....He is leading the NFL in catchs, top 10 in yards, DESPITE the fact that he has no other threat opposite him...If we had that threat, I believe his numbers would be more impressive....

i dont know what stymie 's issue is with that . you put up those numbers then you are a #1 wr . does that make him megatron ? no but there isnt many of those and i bet the pats would take those numbers
