The Fins online had 3 rookies starting last year. These guys will be better this year and the team added other very good talent.
Keep carrying the company flag.

NWPATSFAN,

Would you rather have the Fins WRs or the Pats?

I would choose Waddle, Fuller, Parker and others in a heartbeat.

Entire Pats roster is questionable

Some things never change. Opposing head coaches have to prepare for every player on the Pats roster and look out for the practice squad players lol

Certainly I would rather have them. But that's not what we're debating. Your WRs are only one spoke in the Miami wheel. I would take every orher of NEs positions over the Fins. To include the coaching staff.

The Y was a typo. My post timed out.

NWPATSFAN,

If the Fins lack talent and good coaching how did they win 10 games? The team added talent to be even better this year.

Of course they have good coaching. They are all Patriots!
Talent level is very good.
We are going to win game 1 because our defense will smother your offense.

I agree on the coaching. Flores learned excellent defense from BB. The offense has some similarities too with a big focus on Oline talent.

You asked the question of how the Dolphins won 10 games last year?

2-0 vs Jets
1-2 vs Pats
0-2 vs Bills

2-2 vs AFCW

3-1 vs NFCW

2-0 vs Bengals and Jags

The Fins were 10-6 against a pretty light schedule because they had a pretty bad year in 2019. The Patriots will benefit from a 7-9 season in 2020 and the Dolphins will face a a tougher group because they finished 10-6. The interesting things is that they play the same opponents in the conference and the NFC nd can do a fairly equal comparison. 2021 will be a most interesting season, especially when the starting QBs are known.

10 wins is 10 wins. It may not have been the toughest schedule however it is still remarkable for a second year coach. The Fins doubled their wins from the previous year.

The Fins were the second youngest team in the NFL last year (the Jags were barely younger 25.4 to 25.6) and the Fins were the youngest team in 2019. The Fins have built a talented roster that should keep getting better. That gives the team a bright outlook for not just this year but for years to come. Add in the fact that the Fins just had a great draft to add more talent.

The Fins are going to be hard for the Pats to deal with in game 1.

Quick look at the 2021 schedule starts with

@Patriots
Bills
@Raiders
Colts
@Buccaneers
@Jags
Falcons
@Bills
Texans
Ravens
@Jets
Panthers
Giants
Jets
@Saints
@Titans
Patriots

Fins will be extremely lucky to get out of the first five 1-4. If they go 3-2 in the next five that would be pretty good. They get two breathers in the next five and should be 3-2. The final two will be 1-1 or 0-2. From the cheap seats, I think the Fins will go either 8-9 or 9-8. Only if your O-line is as good as you think they can be. Otherwise, it could be a rough path this year. The Fins toughest home games looking at the schedule will be the Bills, Colts, Ravens, Giants and the final against the Patriots. Their schedule will be a lot harder than you might think.

One game at a time. That's the best focus for the team. The team's record will be unknown until they start playing.

Is this a season record speculation thread? I thought that we were talking Fins vs Pats. You guys keep talking about the Fins tough schedule. The Pats could easily be 1-3 to start the season. Fins, Saints and Bucs to start in the first 4.
