Falcons are 3-4 and have beaten the Bills in Week 7 and were beaten by the Dolphins in Week 8. They have a very potent offense. They also play much better at home than on the road. They will be in Foxboro for this one.

Think what you might, the Falcons are Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

They've lost to the Bucs, 49ers, Dolphins and Panthers and they've beat the Vikings, Bills and Commanders.

They've lost 3 of 4 on the road and won 2 of 3 at home. Most strange loss was to the Panthers on the road 30-0 and the strangest win was 22-6 against the Vikings.

Patriots cannot take this team lightly. By all things, this should be their 6th win in a row and not a game they should have won.

At this point, all these games feel like trap games. The beginning of the last two games 100% felt that way?

Clean up stupid penalties
They seem to be getting better. Problem is OL false starts and Schooler's weekly fifteen yarders on kick offs and punts. Last week it was late hit out of bounds and yesterday a person foul for unnecessary roughness.

Knowing that this crew was officiating and had tossed 28 flags in the Dolphin game, stupid shit is unacceptable. Cleveland didn't have a flag until there was 3:48 left in the second period and it was a defensive holding.

Yes seem to be a little better but they are still happening at the worst possible times though

Well...their version of Myles Garrett has a third of the Garretts sacks so far this year.

So there's that...

Did you see the penalty on Schooler? At worst it should have been a double penalty, with the right answer being a no-call.

Again, it was known before the game that this crew has the worst flags thrown reputation in the NFL. These guys are pretty bad. One call yesterday went against Schooler for a face mask and it was the returner who actually had Schooler by the facemask. I'm talking about unnecessary roughness for throwing the returner to the ground. He had him stopped and someone must have blown a whistle before he finished the play. He tossed him down and not all that forcefully

Personally, I think the first one was completely wrong and the call should have been against Cleveland.
The other wasn't really even worth a flag. That official must have realized that he hadn't tossed one and had to make sure he was doing something.

Vrabel was all over the official for making that second call.

They can't play in fear of the Zebras. Special teamers are hopped up by nature. Do we want any less? At a certain point you just accept certain outcomes, specifically, you can't blame bad calls on the players.

Not being a wise ass.....IF you like reading statistical stuff, this is an in-depth article about what exactly the Patriots will face on offense and defense Sunday. The Atlanta pass defense is #1 in the NFL: giving up only 149 yards poer game, while the Patriots and Drake Maye are #9 in passing offense at 240 yards a game. Strength on strength. It's well worth the time to read.

Wise ass!

That was a lot of reading. Many words produce little meaning.
I find it unfortunate when a writer turns a subject into a Calculus equation.......

Stevenson ruled out with a toe injury.

Henderson gets his chance. Don't run him in the A & B gaps all day. Get him outside with some misdirection and pitches where he's most effective.

Let Jennings run inside.

Atl giving up 4.6 YPC about middle of the pack for run D.

Patriots declared RB Rhamondre Stevenson, S John Saunders, EDGE Caleb Murphy, DT Eric Gregory, OT Caedan Wallace, and QB Tommy DeVito inactive for Week 9 against the Falcons.
Stevenson was declared out earlier this week due to a toe issue, leaving TreVeyon Henderson, Terrell Jennings and D’Ernest Johnson as the Pats’ three backs. DeVito will serve as the emergency third quarterback
