Bears are 3-2 and are 2-0 at home. They beat Arizona, Tampa Bay and Seattle. They lost to Green Bay by one in Week 1 and lost to the Dolphins thiuspast weekend 31-28.

The Bears have a formidable defense lead by former Raider Kalil Mack and have only given up 96 points in 5 games.

Weather forecast says that it will be dry and cold. Game time (1:00 pm) teperatureis forecast to be about 43 degrees.

This should be a stiff test for the Patriots offense.

Pats defense will play better this week(pretty hard to play worse) and the offense will methodically grind out the yards and get some points.

I think the Pats can handle any D the question is can our D handle any O? A team should not have to score 43 points to win a game at the last second. The Bears O is by no means the Chiefs O so I feel we got this, but that D still needs a lot of work

Pats looking @ a hard stretch, 4 out of the next 6 games on the road, against some tough Defenses. Now is when you pull the sword out and battle like a king!

It sucks to hand a game away like we did last week and then have to see you guys next. We've played really good football for 95% of the season and have really choked two games away as a result of a few fleeting, vital moments that resulted in poorly timed miscues. That's apart of being a young team and growing up, I do suppose. Mack getting hurt in the first half also was killer.

That being said, I would be very surprised if any offense pulls away with a cozy victory at Soldier Field against our D. I expect a tightly contested, entertaining game. Also interested to see if the offense and Trubisky can keep up their mini hot streak.

I expect the team to come out with a lot of passion and energy at home after that brutal loss. It's not exactly a revelation, but I think the game will come down to how much our pass rush can disrupt Brady. We have a pretty damn good one when Mack is healthy.

43 and a bit windy sounds fun. Not that it's enough to affect much, but it's about time for some real football weather. Don't ya think?

:suds: Here's to both teams avoiding injuries and what I think will be a good game

Best of luck to ya @richig07

I'd obviously feel more confident if this were s home game and the Bears hadn't lost the way they did. I do see the Pats winning but it going down to the final drive

As always, it will be which defense is better prepared to play againt the opposing offense. The Bears have to get creative. If they insist on a vanilla offense and hope that their defense can slow down the Patriots, they'll lose big time. The Patriots played well enough to beat the best offense in the NFL and that's with a secondary that sucks.

Bears HC was the Chiefs OC last year, he does all the same creative stuff the Chiefs do, he just doesn't have as good personnel yet. But their personnel is still pretty good. If Trubisky can keep playing at the level he has the last two games, they're going to put up points. Mack is dinged up which helps since it looks like Cannon will be a no-go.

Gronk didn't make the trip to Chicago and is listed as doubtful with a back injury.

Josh Gordon is going to have his much anticipated breakout game.

Three first half fumbles and the Pats lost two and it cost them 10 points.
Missed perfect interception in the end zone by Roberts.
Crossen runs 30 yards out of bounds on a punt that could have cost the Pats at the half.

Michel hurts his knee again. He'll probably miss the next two games. Barner is running very well.

The Bears offense is sputtering and Trubisky looks skittish. Thing is that the Paqtshave trapped him three times and let him run for a first down and the fourth time he ran for about 50 yeards and made a an 8 yard TD. How long will it take BB to make some changes that will have DLs that can run down a QB???

As hard as they're trying to give this game to the Bears the Patriots are leading 21-17 at the half.

If the Patriots can get 1 takeaway in the secod half and score a FG they'll win this game. The Bears are not doing anything to win this game on their own.
