Another chance for a win. Bengals are better than expected but we are at home.

The Lions have a "home field advantage", since when ?
Since they beat the Ravens before the refs handed the game back to them. Lions actually dont suck at home at least. It gives them a chance.

I must be viewing with a different pair of bifocals

This isn't good or maybe it is - not wishing the injury happened or is still lingering

In a radio appearance on 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit, Campbell revealed that the progress back from a serious concussion suffered in Week 1 will keep Williams out through this week, and perhaps longer.

“That doesn’t look good right now. I would say that’s still off in the distance for sure, ” Campbell stated when asked for a possible timetable on Williams’ return.

I guess we will see a lot of Trinity Benson this week without Cephus too.

Not today

Lions inactives:

  • WR Trinity Benson
  • DL Eric Banks
  • DL Jashon Cornell
  • EDGE Jesse Lemonier
  • CB Mark Gilbert
  • DB Daryl Worley
Jemar Jefferson is active for the 1st time

The Lions made a few roster moves this week, placing WR Quintez Cephus and NB/KR Corey Balentine on injured reserve, signing rookie CB Mark Gilbert off the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad, as well as elevating WR Geronimo Allison and NB Nickell Robey-Coleman from their practice squad for this game, bringing the active roster to 54 players.

The Lions opted to keep only five receivers active today and in a bit of a surprise move, Trinity Benson is a healthy scratch, making Tom Kennedy and Geronimo Allison active for the first time this season. Benson has struggled recently, but by all accounts, the Lions remain optimistic about the receiver.

Announced apparently wanted to say something nice about the Lions. He stated Goff was having a good season, having gone over 200 yards passing in each of their first 5 games...

At the time he was 11/17 for 47 yards.

Finally our franchise is saved.

Lol FOX should go back to fake crowd noise. Stadiums were louder than this last year.

Wow. That was just sad. Defense finally gassed in the second half after being on the field most of the game. Offense is terrible. Swift and Hock are the only decent players out there. O-line is just not good without Ragnow and to some extent Decker but that is expected. Goff is regressing IMO. We might have the number 1 pick in the draft.

Just hope we don't use it on a qb

Should just give Blough a shot, he can't do any worse

Goff is doing an excellent job towards obtaining the No.1 overall pick for 2022 draft, so why screw that up inserting Blough :noidea:

Swift and Hock are the only decent players out there.

Hock injured with the knee and Swift behind this line isn't doing much on a consistent basis.
J. Williams currently appears to be better than Swift but doesn't receive anywhere near the opportunities

I'm definitely on your side of thinking regarding this comment.
I don't see one CFB QB performing consistently enough this year that warrants being drafted.
I'd rather see the FO continue to build the defense 1st outside of adding 1, maybe 2, WR from the upcoming draft and probably another TE

add from the next draft
at least one edge rusher
one safety
one ILB

I might as well keep up with the weekly posting of another bad play(s) coming from Will Harris - getting rag-dolled by Ja'Marr Chase as Joe Mixon scores. If Will Harris does not drastically improve his defense by game 12 then DC might as well get Price or Elliott some reps as at Safety in order to see if they're worth keeping for next year

Even though Barnes makes some mistakes, he's been a boost for that defense on limited snaps
