Sewell had his hands full with the Bears pass-rushing attack, giving up seven total pressures with two of them being sacks. He allowed Robert Quinn to get to Goff leading to a fumble in the red zone.

BB_72: another day of learning for Sewell.

I think this cements that Decker will take the left back when he comes back. I still think Sewell will be an absolute beast, but at 20 he needs some work still.

IDK why W. Harris is still on this team or what DC, AG and A Pleasant see in him

As a team not a single offensive player would have made the bottom 5 worst. Defense had that on lockdown!

agree with Decker taking his usual spot at LT.

I'm not concerned with Sewell having a bad series, a bad half or even a bad game. I think he is one player who tries to correct his mistakes next game. There will be learning curves for him throughout the season. I wouldn't change picking Sewell for any other player - at this time.

100 on that

Hell the first run by the Bears in that game was 8 or 9 yards by Montgomery and he and D. Williams must've had 5-6 runs of at least 8 yards in their first series.

The Defense was a HOTTT Mess in that game.

Let the young pups play and learn - even Bobby Price although it was a really bad game for him, let's see if he progresses or regresses. It was his "1st start" as a CB.

I was surprised to see parker on the list, he has been pretty damn solid so far this year. Hopefully, he bounces back.

a typical Will Harris play and yes, Price got burned but Harris sure as hell didn't do his job either.
Same for when W. Harris was dragged into the end-zone by Montgomery on his TD run

I didn't notice the missed tackles that they talked about by Parker. Then again, I miss a lot also

Agree with all but Charles Harris. I though he played better. McNeil is a beast. I would move Price back to safety at this point. Not like he was covering a top tier WR. Maybe we use our first pick on that kid from Notre Dame.

The Will Harris stuff is even more strange because everyone that had any ties to him is gone. Walker has consistently outperformed him, at this point Walker is the 1 safety that should be getting snaps, but he plays the fewest.

Pause this clip at 8 second mark and you can count 10 - YES, 10 Lions Defensive Players around/near Montgomery on this TD
Effing ridiculous

I would have cut him. He is lost and just does not belong in the NFL except for a practice squad.

JRM probably should play a hybrid S/LB role. He is too small to be a LB and does not possess good enough overall coverage skills to be a S. Maybe put him on the TE or RB. McNeil is the only DL that was worth his salt yesterday.

Let the kid learn the position switch. Who honestly cares about this one game. We all knew this year and more than likely next year would be consumed with growing pains. They have little money left to sign anyone and there's a reason as to why Price, a CFB Safety, got the nod over Jerry Jacobs , a CFB CB.

I'm not for tanking but this is the year that the kids can take their lumps and see who displays possibilities to keep next year and who doesn't. Hell, one game or a handful of games doesn't prove you kick the kid to the curb and if that were the case then most of these rookies in any draft deserve all the same treatment. You cannot do that.

He has a chance to play safety though. Not like we got great players there. Why not give him another shot there?

I am all for tanking, and I hope Matt Stafford destroys his arm on an errant pass that hits Donald in the head and bounces of to hit Ramsay ending both of their seasons as well.
