I just wish occasionally he would use the awesome backfield, nkt the subpar qb

In hindsight, they should've gone with a 13 package. The one 4th down and 5 was risky and that down should've been a FG just to get any points

Based on how often he showed up yesterday I would have assumed Julian Okwara had seen an uptick on snaps....nope, still only 12. Barnes only got 18, they gave most of the snaps to Reeves-Maybin

That is more than a year lost. That is super rough.

Every player and injury is different on how bad the injury truly is and barring any setbacks during rehab, but you're most likely correct in the thinking of more than a year lost. It sucks all the way around for Okwara and the rest of the D-Line.

Charles Harris will need to shine from here on out and Julian better get his act together quickly.

In 12 snaps he had 3 tackles, one of those for a loss. I think at this point we need to start giving him snaps and let him sink or swim.

Barnes was injured early on in that 3rd quarter and I do not recall seeing him on the field after Chicago's 1st series of the 2nd half.

JRM doesn't deserve any reps on defense. ST, yes, but that's about it.

It'll be an intriguing upcoming draft for sure.

Friggen Devin Lloyd is going to play himself out of range of the Rams pick....the douche.

I wasn't aware of that. I haven't seen a whole lot of production even in his limited snap role. I assumed after that final pre-season game where he pretty much played 70% of the game, he would've been more involved on field than what we've seen to date.

I am confused by it. Flowers already out, his brother went down. I thought he would get an uptick on snaps, but Bryant/Harris got them all.

Hey now, ease back and throttle down a bit. I get where you're coming from but maybe there's still a chance he is the pick. I haven't finished watching a full game yet but he's been awesome this year.

Never say never

4 games in 46 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 picks, 1 PD, and a FF. Not bad at all! At this rate, he will go in the early 20s, and the Rams pick is looking like a late 20s.

It's just strange as to why he isn't more involved. IDK. I'm quite confused seeing Bryant getting a helluva lot more field time when Julian is more athletic - he still needs to expand his repertoire in pass rush moves/

He may get drafted prior to that. IDK. It's a long way until we get to that point. All I know is that an edge rusher, an off-ball LB - or 2 is needed next year - not to mention (2) S and (2) CB.

You see Parsons is playing Edge Rusher now that Lawrence is on the shelf ? I think that's perfect for him even though he'll have some rough patches.

That being said I am good with a flyer on a lesser known QB in the upcoming draft.

After they acquire some defensive player's prior to the flyer QB pick ?
I hope

I'm not impressed with any of the qb prospects for next years draft at all. Ole Miss Corral intrigues me a little bit. He had a tough time this past Saturday but you'd have to assume that was coming after what he did to Bama last year.

I would be good if all 5 of the picks in the first 3 rounds went defense or WR

That'd be simply perfect from this chair.

Holmes and DC talked about getting the team headed in the right direction with starters first and then finding the QB to guide the ship.
I hope that still remains their outlook going forward.

Decker and Ragnow (turf toe for the latter) are out for the upcoming game versus Vikings.

Flowers could possibly be back for this matchup.

Williams was hands down the Lions best offensive weapon through the first half, gaining 66 yards on 14 carries while recording 34 yards after contact. He had the highest run grade and landed third overall amongst running backs so far this week.

Jackson had a nice rebound game earning elite marks in pass blocking, which was good for fifth-best amongst guards this week. He only scored average in run blocking, but he did not give up any pressures, unlike last week, where he gave up two.
