None of those guys have pitched better than Jimenez when the games count. But, he does need to show he can pitch against the AL East. It's more than one outing. He just happened to only face Boston once last year. His career numbers against the Red Sox have been horrible. They are bad against the Yankees, also.
Britton has been given plenty of chances. Outside of the first half of his rookie year, he hasn't done anything. If he pitches well out of the bullpen, he may get a chance to start. He has to earn that first by pitching well. How many chances did Hammel get? Outside of maybe the first two months he was with the O's, he stunk. That's why he isn't here anymore. I'm not sure why you brought Chen up. He has been pretty solid for the team.
