This is biggest game of 2025. It will be the CBS Feature.

Patriots will be coming off their BYE and Buffalo is bent on revenge and trying to get the division lead back.

Bills face the Bengals in Buffalo this week which could be a bit of a challenge. Bills' secondary is a mess and Burrow is back and slinging it.

Patriots are 11-2 and 2.5 games ahead of the bills who now sit 7th in the playoffs positioning while the Patriots are temporarily #1.

A win against the Bills this week would go a long way in getting the Bye for the Division Playoffs.

Yeah this game has me on edge. I think Buff took us lightly, assumed we were last years Patriots the approach will be a lot different this time. Not to mention playoff scenarios at stake. This is where a young team can suffer. I think the coaches will be preaching focus on your job, on play at a time. Every single play requires absolute focus. This could just as easily be an L.

Pats: Not Sure

Buff: Not Sure

Can Marcus Jones return another kick? Certainly hope so!

Will the Patriots be able to stop the Bills running game? Will Josh Allen lay another egg? I am not so sure on either of those... Either will be a blow out or a last second heart attack

Will we still be minus Milton WIlliams for this game?

Marcus will be a threat and Buffalo will concentrate on getting to him ASAP. The problem will be going so fast that they can't stop in time when he hitches. Weird to have to game plan for punt returns when you have to also prepare not to punt.

Patriots have the second best run defense in the NFL and 17th Pass defense
Bills have the #30 run defense and the #1 pass defense.
Patriots will have a run first offensive plan to start and wear down that poor DL and then do a lot of play action to freeze the LB and safeties.

As far as offenses go, Bills are #2 and the Patriots are #7. Patriots have the #1 passing offense.

#1 Passing offense against the #1 passing defense. That's where getting one step on the defense will be critical.

If Maye can do anywhere close to what he did against the Giants (24/31 282 2 TDs) Buffalo will have score every time they get the ball. Three and out will be their death.

Bills' secondary is a mess
They got dinged up this past week. Nothing serious enough for IR. If you watched their game against the Steelers, their DBs had a hard time taking down Metcalf and it seemed like every time he caught the ball, the guy that hit him first need several plays to shake off the willies.

It looked like a blowout, but as hard and often that they hit Rodgers and as bloody as his face was, they couldn't sideline him.

"When factoring in the bye week in Week 14, the earliest Williams can return is in Week 17 against the New York Jets.

However, depending on the severity, a high-ankle sprain can take up to six weeks to heal, so it's possible he returns in Week 18."

This is the only report I have seen on the severity of Milton Williams injury!
Breer is reporting that this was a grade 3 sprain - which is a complete tear of the MCL
I don't expect him back for the regular season, if Breer is correct.......

I’m seeing reports that Williams injury is a grade 2. That is significantly different than Breers report.patriots keeping the diagnosis close to the vest. I don’t know where Breer got his info but reported being confronted with no info often make something up, hoping to force more information to be released

Yeah, not sure with Williams out through week 17. Hopefully Tonga is full healthy. Pharms has done admirable since stepping in.

One thing we can count on is a Josh Allen TO or two. Maybe one is a pick 6?

On a positive note NE has cleaned up a lot of their early bonehead penalties and TOs.

RZ is a concern. NE can't settle for FGs.

A heavy dose of running early to eat up clock and pound away and keep Allen off the field. Remember the game where they ran like 25 of 30 plays and won with Mac Jones? Something like that I think could work. Sprinkled with some Maye magic.

Yep, mix in a couple dump offs and quick slants. Please stop only bringing in the FB on short yardage gains with running it up the A&B gaps. It's too predictable. At least throw in a play action with that set up once in a while.

I think we see a different offense after the bye. Skippy has two weeks to change it up to something Buffalo isn't expecting.

Two questions for the group. When does Tonga get his first TD? You know it's coming. Maybe in the playoffs?

What has happened to Hooper? He's practically been nonexistent as a receiver.

Yeah I think if there is a Tongs TD it's held off until playoff time.

Hooper had a concussion and IMO part of the reason some of us are thinking we need a TE in the offseason.

Yeah not sure they will be able to bottle up the Bills running attack.. Hopefully take away Josh Allen but that it something.

Yes (KNOCKING on wood) penalties seem to have been getting better and better)......

I am not a fan of the Red Zone play calling or execution at all and as you mentioned the Patriots can not only kick FGs and expect to beat the Bills. They CERTAINALY can NOT only score 3 points in the entire 2nd quarter and expect to win either

They ran every play but 1 because they were concerned about Jones noodle arm in the wind.

God I'm glad he's gone.

Be nice to see them fake the run then throw to the full back once in a while.

I am wrong...or at least I was wrong...46 out of 49.
