I hope that humble pie tastes like ass. The O is going to need to do a better job of controlling the ball and the clock or this O is going to put some real explosive plays on them...

It will be interesting to see how they respond. I believe they have a chance only because the defense will be facing a rookie QB. It doesn't give me a great amount of confidence and im sure they will get gashed as usual but the defense has a better chance when they don't play good veteran QBs.

they haven’t been good since game 3. I was thrilled about all the turnovers but when I saw all the yards on the ground and thru the air they were giving up I figured the defense hasn’t turned the corner quite yet. There are some bright spots but the consistency sucks donkey balls.

Just hope the offense continues to flourish because I don't have much confidence in that defense.

I think it like basketball. A team has a good scorer, just limit the rest of the team. Let's face it, McCaffrey is going to get his yards. They need to prevent the rest of the team from getting stupid yards, like leaving the middle of the field wide open for 12 yard passes.

Run the ball.......exited that game plan last week. Dump offs...quick slants(this is where I miss a Cobb type).

i like Blake but they need to upgrade.

Maybe it’s just me but anyone else think the offense looked very predictable at times, shall I say McCarthy-esk? Still waiting for the innovation to kick in. The O-line can look decent at times but an upgrade is definitely needed.

Defense: incapable of covering crossing routes for some reason. Also, I am resigned to the fact that they will never be able to stop the run or pass but they get stops when they need it. I’m just afraid it will cost them in the playoffs against better talent.
