Game day, 7pm start on FDS. Will be chasing children around so may miss the first making dinner but I'll have it on. Wacky schedule today for the younger three and sports.

Not much to say here, expect the same line up but maybe Kuemper in net. Glass Boy may be in but that'll be a GTD.

The Kings may have clinched but seeding is still for grabs. It's nutty to think they could end up at WC1, WC2, PD2 or PD3 still. PD1 is out due to tie breakers.

The Canucks are just bad so they're playing their season out, this is a game even being a B2B LA should win unless Kuemper gives up some bad goals again. I also expect Boom Boom to pot a double again because...Vancouver.

If the Kings can win out the regular season (is viable), and the Sux lose out (they lost @ MN tonight in regulation, and they finish in Nashville), Kings leapfrog into 3rd in Division, and potentially a 5th straight playoffs against EDM....smh

Buster did lose his stick but that was his man that went right to the net. Kuemper no chance.

I really can't stand the man on man coverage LA plays, it pulls defensemen to the point and then you have situations like this.

Trying to get him going is my guess, good opportunity against the worst place team in the league plus Forsberg played last night. Can't really blame him on any of the goals tonight though, I'm still waiting for the Special to show up.

The way I would do it however is Forsberg is the number one the rest of the way, he has really turned it on the last little while and gives them the best chance to win. I have this feeling that Kuemper is done and goal will be an issue next season.

Would look at some type of move with Kuemper, get rid of that last year on the deal and get a cheaper backup to Forsberg. He only makes $2M a year and isn't a legitimate starter but has shown he can be at times. Get a cheaper back up even at the same $2M and you maybe have a platoon situation for $4M instead of almost $8M.

Portillo is getting up there in age as a prospect and should get a shot as the back up, Kings need to see what thwy have in him or move him.

But on Thursday the ducks could lose to the Predators in regulation and the Kings could lose in OT and pass the Ducks.

The PD is just bad man. I remember when it was a powerhouse.

Ducks freefall recently didn't help their chances. The DLW won't want to hear this but it'll be one and done no matter who they face. Bad time to gimp into the POs plus being a young team they'll have to lose to learn how to win.

I think that actually goes back to Kuemper himself. He played so lights out last season one of my theories is the Kings play a little more loose in front of him knowing he is back there. Not the case this season, defensive mistakes are ending up in the net because Kuemper returned to earth.

Seems like they played tighter in front of Forsberg, maybe because it's year one and they didn't know what they were getting in him.
