Don't be a jabroni.
Game day, 6pm start on FDS. This was supposed to be a national game on TNT but got moved to the local FDS. Probably a good thing, the Kings don't play well on national TV. But then again they haven't played well on FDS either all season so who knows. Going to do tacos tonight at home and will be able to watch this in whole.
Not sure who the starter is but the Kings are on the first of a B2B (Predators tomorrow night at 730pm, huge game) so both goalies will play tonight and tomorrow. I'm hoping we see Forsberg tonight, Kuemper has looked like butt recently and I think needs a break.
Some lineup changes expected, Glass Boy and Ward will be back in on L4 with Helenius and Malott out. Helenius has not looked good recently either but has some type of injury as well. Defense pairings also changed again:
10 11 9
12 55 14
53 21 40
17 15 52
2 8
6 92
44 5
That defense set up cracks me up, it's like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. Anderson is a D3 on a true contender, I don't see him and Peepee making any type of positive difference together. Jill tried this set up earlier this year and the results were the same, this just isn’t a good defensive lineup. But that's what happens when you sign Peepee and Dummy. I'd insert Moverare in place of Peepee no questions asked. I'm actually going to start interchanging Peepee and Caca.
The Blues have quietly crept back into the PO race, they are 6-2-2 in their last 10 and three points behind LA so this is a big game for them too. Keep an eye on Thomas, this guy is a legit 1C and I hope the Kings can acquire him somehow this summer.
Winnipeg has also climbed back into it, they are one point back of LA. All of a sudden there are 5-6 teams vying for that last PO spot. The Kings are out of runway and need to win games, they will lose every tiebreaker even if they ended up with the same number of points as anyone around them.
My money is still on them missing and maybe that's a wake up call to this lame front office. The Kings, Canucks and Hawks are the only three teams in the league without 30 wins, pathetic.
