I’m watching the game in ESPN+, so the feed is from Canada. And something the hosers said was interesting. They said that Kempe is fighting through something. He was supposed to be a scratch but with where the Kings are he’s pushing through it.
Does anyone know how hurt Adrian is?

He has been in a walking boot on his left foot since Sunday, probably when he took that shot on it on Saturday I believe.

The Kings haven't announced anything, keeping with NHL protocol and hush hush until something is definitive but he's been a game time decision the last two games so it'll be up to Kempe on whether he wants to play or not. With whatever push the Kings are trying, he will play even if he is hurt - he's that type of guy.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a fracture or something but we won't know until the end of the season when injuries are announced or if the Kings are eliminated from PO contention in the next few games and they decide to shut him down because they are out and to prevent any further damage.

Buster with 2
Where is this guy the other 80 games?

Working on his brand instead of his game.

He notoriously plays better towards the end of the season, usually the last 10 games or so going back four seasons now.

Why that is is anyone's guess but in a season like this the last two games of Buster were needed starting on Opening Night.

Even Carl Grundstrom had a little hot streak in December and again fell off the map so nothing has changed for me regarding Buster, his body of work overall speaks for itself after almost 350 NHL games.

It doesn't matter at this point and still why I would consider moving him this summer were I Holly. Lot of guys need to go to make this a legitimately competitive team again.

And for God's sake send Yanetti somewhere in the southern hemisphere on draft day, don't want him anywhere near the draft table.

Bread man with a beautiful shot

Forgot to mention this when it happened during the game, but the shot Panarin took lobbing it over Wolf (some people call it a shelf tuck) was one of Johnny Gaudreau's moves. After he scored he kissed his fingers and pointed them to the sky, clearly honoring Johnny Hockey.

Class move IMO especially being in Calgary.
