Don't be a jabroni.
Game day, 4pm start on FDS. May be able to watch bits and pieces traveling to get kids but not the whole thing. But that's what replay is for.
Few guys are banged up including Kempe who didn't practice this morning but Smith said he is expecting him to play tonight. May be the same line up as against Bahstan on Saturday but Glass Boy and Moverare can be inserted if necessary. Kuemper first off the ice today indicating he will be the starter.
The Rags have won 4 straight, too little too late. They will not make the POs. I was hoping to see a Quick Kopitar showdown especially being his last game at MSG (maybe Quick too against LA, I'm expecting him to retire after this season too at age 40) but it looks like Shesterkin to start.
Panarin returns to NY after 6+ seasons there, I expect him to get a nice ovation. Kind of crazy how the schedule worked out so shortly after the trade. That dude has been lights out for LA and IMO kind of energized Kopitar and Kempe again. Kempe has been on fire, hope he plays tonight.
Last game on a 5 game trip where the Kings have gone 2-1-1, while I always want to see them win I think where they are at as a franchise the wins are hurting. They will get smoked in any case in WC1 or WC2, no point trying to get in but these are also professional athletes who want to win. This is audition time for some younger players so there is still stuff to prove.
Battle of the busts coming up, Lafrenière and Buster part 2.
Magic 8 Ball says: Looks Like Yes. Hope so.
Let's Go Kings!
FYI - not even a Duck fan but the Leafs are in town on March 30 at The Puddle, I got tickets yesterday because I think it'll be fight night after that Gudas dirty knee, the Leafs non response, Matthews out the rest of the season (grade 3 MCL tear) and Berube on record saying they needed a better response. If you saw him play you know he isn't happy about the gentlemanly behavior from the Leafs.
Texted LagunaD yesterday and he managed to convince the DLW to the same game so we will be meeting up. If anyone else is around, grab a ticket and meet us. First round on Pucky.
