Saw that stat, Reeves had 6 hits alone in the second period.

You'll hear people say if you're getting hit it means you have the puck but I've seen some Kings take some good hits tonight in the NZ just trying to make a pass. Sharks finishing their checks.

Interesting stat, Buster 0-2 on OZ FOs. No 1C happening here. Finished 3-8 (37.5%).

Lot of their points have been, padding their stats. Right now there are a lot of teams bunched up separating say 3rd from 7th.

Unusual year, usually by TG if you're in a PO spot you'll end up there. Also why we haven't seen too many trades, 20 something teams are in the hunt.

I do expect some separation here soon.

Didn't watch the last two games. Following comments on other pages and lots of Trevor Moore/Phil Danault being washed chatter. I wonder if LA wouldn't do well to just retool rather than wholesale rebuild. Problem is obviously with them being so old already. Kuemper the main guy I'm thinking, but they just loaded up Ceci, Dumoulin, Perry, Armia. Those are all in win-now moves. So it is what it is with this team I guess.

Dunno and Moore have looked like ass all season long. The issue is age and salary, even with them being manageable under the higher cap paying a soon to be 33 year old and 31 year old for one more and two more years at $5.5M and $4.25M will make moving them a problem. I can see Dunno having takers before Moore however.

They are in full blown win now mode though, so I see them adding. Interesting thing I saw last week on a telecast were the Kings were the oldest team in the league whereas TA said they were the second oldest.

Either way, they're old. It's now or never for LA.

Yea, unfortunately they HAVE to go for it.

1. The West is kinda ass except a few teams, but some 'bad' teams are about to make LA a non playoff team for a LONG time without a proper GM.

2. Kings have nothing much to offer, Buster is showing who he is and you need to **** a GM to get something for him. Cupboards dont have much, you gotta move guys when they are hyped and you get more that they worth....LA fans wont let that happen.....because well, HYPE!

3. Kings have a good system for mediocre players, you can see what happens when a mistake is made. Not everyone can insert into it.

4. C, if Kopistar isnt on the Kings....this team is f.ucked. Only chance I see is LA needs a real #1C this season and hate to say it but somehow convince DD8 to cut down his icetime. Mover should get some minutes over half the dmen Kings got right now IMO. I think LA could get 1 dynamic player and probably should as they are closer to a PO team than they are to having anything to rebuild around. Either way, dark days ahead if Kuemper fails or Kopi is gone

They've already cut back on minutes for Doughty (Kopitar too) so that's a good thing. The bad thing is the guys getting the extra minutes (Buster leads the whole team in TOI and is in every situation, ES, PP, PK, 4v3, 5v4, 6v5, you name it) are either not that great or aren't getting it done.

You are correct, it is Doughty overall at 22:33 minutes a game. That's down from his usual 25+ in previous seasons. Buster is first among forwards at 20:02 per game.
