•As pointed out by lionsman81, the Lions defense has surrendered only one touchdown in the last 13 quarters of regular season play (going back to last season). The offense has actually had two interceptions returned for touchdowns in the last 13 quarters, meaning the defense has given up fewer TDs than the offense in that span of time. That's pretty remarkable.
•The Lions currently have the highest point differential in the NFL. They have scored 75 points this season (second most in the NFL) and have given up 23 points (second fewest), which is good for a +52 differential. The Bills and Texans are tied for second with a +37 differential. (Via hb.koolaid)
•The Lions are the only team in the NFL to have not given up a sack yet. On the flip side, the Chicago Bears have surrendered the most sacks so far this season by giving up 11 in their first two games.
•Dating back to last season, the Lions have won six straight games. You have to go back to 1995 for the last time they had a streak that long. That year they won seven straight games to finish the season.
•If you count this year's preseason, the Lions have won 10 straight games.
•The last time the Lions started a season 2-0 was in 2007. The last time they started 3-0? You have to go all the way back to 1980 when they opened with a 4-0 record.
•By playing on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, Jason Hanson set the NFL record for most games (297) with one team. He also became the seventh player in NFL history to score 1,900 career points, and he tied Morten Andersen, Jason Elam and John Kasay for the most seasons (17) with a 50-yard field goal.
