Savannah State is getting 70.5 points versus FSU. HOLY SHIT!! I have never seen a spread like that. Why would anyone bet against Savannah State as a majority of the starters would probably be on the bench with a 40 point lead at the most.

First time ever a 70 point spread has been issued.

Savannah state just lost to Oklahoma State 84 - 0 last week. FSU is a better team that Okie. St. I'd say FSU covers that spread.

What happens if FSU decides to rest most all of their starters by halftime to prevent injury and to give second stringers some time? It is very possible due to a blowout, FSU doesn't play their starters a lot during the game and may fall a decent amount short of that unless they are required by the betting commission to try and stick it to the opponent as bad as possible.

So did OSU. They also played their 3rd stingers and 4th stringers. 3 QBs played significant time, I wanna say something like 5-6 RBs. OSU didn't leave their starters in to run up the score.

Still, I can't imagine a 70+ point spread. That may change by tomorrow with the number of bets that come in on Savannah State though.

Florida St hasn't scored more than 70 points in the last decade (I stopped looking past 2002) and has played some pretty scrub teams. I don't think they cover. Jimbo is a doucher, but not that big of one.

They just scored 69 last week, I see no reason to think they won't score 70+ against a worse team. I wouldn't necessarily bet them to, but I wouldn't bet the house against them either. I could see them scoring 100 honestly. They scored 69 last week and Manuel only had 1 TD.

If there has to be a 70 point spread, then the damn game shouldn't even be played.

Truer words could never have been spoken. I take this quote as gospel in amateur and professional sports.

The game wasn't really ever supposed to be scheduled. It is happening because WVU backed out of the game they were supposed to have with FSU like 3 weeks before the schedules were released

I can't believe a spread is even posted for this game.....I'm almost sure there was no line for their game with Okie St (84-0).....FSU can name the score......

When the number gets that huge, there's almost no way to handicap the result.....it's obvious the favorite is good enough to cover, but there's always the chance the dogs will be called off before they get there.....and according to StatFox.com the line was 58.....teams like Savannah St used to never be on the board.....
