Yeah, that was my impression of the movie, too.

I'm actually somewhat impressed with the CG in this Frozen 2 sequence but we're so far into subverting classic tropes that Disney is in a weird spot. Frozen 2 is actually going to need some meat in its plot.

Yep. My seven year old was just reintroduced to the original and showed it to my two year old. I believe it's been played at the Redfoot residence roughly three dozen times in the last week.
