Actually, this just makes me more optimistic that Frost is indeed coming home....

When big news stories (sports in particular) are out there and powers that be can not get by with endless no comments, their solution is often leaking dissinformation to make it appear they still are conducting things in secret.

How many times have we read a sports article where so and so is definitely not going to be fired and has a vote of confidence from the gm/whoever and then the next day they can his ass....

My honest opinion here is that SF would not be ready to run the "O" totally.

I like Scott, but he needs more grooming or more time...

Beck would be much better suited for calling plays...

Linda's phone keeps ringing so that's a sign that things are not finished...

But all we can do is wait?

I am not sure that there was an offer or where it all stands if there was one.

I have not looked at rumors, but seen here that SF is staying at O (according to other posters). Not a bad thing in my opinion. I think he could help in the QB set up, but not sure he can handle all the calls an OC has to make.

I will say this about Frost. Thank god we don't have to worry about his loudmouth daddy spouting off all of the time. God that guys a fuck. It was a huge problem when scott played for us.

Sure enough as soon as Scott was in the mix, who was talking to the media about it? His DAD. God can you imagine Shawn Watson's dad spouting off to the media about his situation right now?? The guy is 38. That's absolutely ridiculous. We don't need that here.

I remember Benning saying a few months ago he would be "shocked" if SF came back to Nebraska right now. He didn't explain why. I will say it appears SF is happy where he's at, they got a great recruiting class, and the $$ bonus potential at Oregon is good with them being on a roll.
