at first when i read this i thought they were hiring him as western amateur scout ... next step hiring Wendel Clark as QMJHL amateur scout

Goulet was the director of player personnel of the Colorado Avalanche during championship wins in 1996 and 2001. I guess he will keep his home base in Denver and report directly to *gasp* Jay Feaster.
