Too much crying last year about how the Rams mugged them.

Did they acquire any toughness in the off season ? Gawd let's hope so.

They have one of the toughest leaders, though.

Lol you know I mean the man who put the team on his back, when he could barely walk himself and they were going out of their way to add more weight, and still damn near carried them to a win.

If Shanahan wasn't in charge I would have much more faith that he could.

He's not a big guy. In the NFL every QB gets hit. The question is how many hits can he take before he gets injured. The one thing that RGIII has going for him is the Commisioner is doing everything he possibly can to take hitting out of the game.

You are far off here buddy. If RG3 was truly a leader he would know how important he is to the team to stay healthy and would have avoided all of those big hits he took last year. RG3 wont ever be as dangerous as he was in his rookie season because of his injury and the history of how running qb's fair in this league.

Bullshit. He needs to learn to take care of himself, but that can be coached up. When your offense is run the way Shanahan ran it last year, You have no choice but to feel the entire offense is on you, and that you have to fight for every inch. A rookie isn't expected to know the difference without coaching.

I'm worried for RG-3. He is not going to play Pre-season and then get thrown into the heat of the battle. He is virtually a rookie. He needs the hits in pre-season to get ready. I don't like this.

RG3, Kaep, and Wilson dont scare me at all this year compared to the moment they had last year. The running QB and read option is a fad and will no longer be a huge threat verse these NFL defenses. Yes it was effective last year because defenses havent seen it and were not able to prepare for it. With another offseason passing and the season coming up fast I dont see how those 3 QBs will be as effective this year as they were last year, especially RG3 who to me was the worst of the 3.

I would never run the read option with him. Not once. I wouldn't even roll him out except on rare occasions. I would take RG3 over anyone in the league but Brady, manning, and Rodgers to win in the next 3 years if he ran a 7.0 40. He doesn't need to run to be successful.

RG3 is now a known commodity. His best year is behind him.

Rams have the softest starting QB in the NFL, zero run game and they're hanging their offensive hopes on a 5'6 slot WR. Good defense though. Totally agree that RG is overrated. Guy is not a me-player not a team-player.

Ravens really exposed them bad in the SB. No black out and that game is a 40 point blowout.

This is exactly how I feel. I dont know how successful he will be if he solely has to rely on his arm. Its going to be interesting to see what direction the Redskins organization plans to do with RG3.

Hey RobBase I have been meaning to ask a Lions fan this question but havent come around to it. Whats the general feeling in Detroit with the Stafford getting the extension?

The Rams haven't been relevant since the Faulk/Warner era.
