For as big as the game one week ago was, this is as big, if not bigger in that a win this week (Tuesday night) fuels consideration of second tier playoff spots (wildcard) as a viable alternative against a division title, practically lost against the Cowboys. A Washington win, and there are going to be an avalanche of questions, and points of view, directed at their near certain lock on a wildcard playoff berth. An Eagles win and most will concede that such a berth will require some luck and a near perfect finish.
The concern is palatable, Washington has been hit hard by infections, so much so, that this game had to be postponed until Tuesday night. Now there are questions about fielding a team that's strong enough to be competitive and/or have the ability to win this pivotal game. Not to be over-looked, there's hope, on the other side, that an equally invested Eagles squad won't fall victim to its own surge in Covid infections, perhaps, causing the NFL to move this game yet again. There are real playoff implications involved here, with the winner exiting with a fairly firm grip on its chances to be a part of the postseason. Good luck on Tuesday, here are the usual questions.
1. Who wins this game?
2. Final score?
3. Player(s) of the game?
4. Memorial moment, event or play, that will have everyone talking on Sunday night and Monday mornings?
