As I prepare this we are officially 2 days, 17 hours, 45 minutes, and 4 seconds from the start of the Commanders/Buccaneers and game one of Washington's 2024 season.





The season opener is always charged with energy and anticipation. Commanders Nation will be eager to see how the team performs under new leadership and with their retooled roster. A win to start the season would be great, but being competitive, being a tough out, and showing signs of growth early on in the season should be the biggest focus as that will likely result in more success as the season unfolds.

I don’t know. It is game 1 and between boring vanilla schemes, a 60% roster turnover, a new coaching staff, and a rookie QB, who knows.

Wait…I was told by the NFL, the script is for JD5 to be the next big thing. Redskins win 38-28. JD5 rushes for 60 yards and a score while throwing for 300 and three scores…no picks.
