Grant is a bone breaker. 6'3" 208 and has always tried to make himself mirror Rodney Harrison. If he can stay healthy, he'll be great on ST and giving Devin or Adrian a breather.

"Gant, a hard-hitting safety out of Marshall, initially joined the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2019 and spent his entire rookie season on New England’s injured reserve. He was cut before training camp last summer when the Patriots needed to purge their roster from 90 players to 80.Grant is a bone breaker. 6'3" 208 and has always tried to make himself mirror Rodney Harrison. He should be a nice addition to our 7man TE Set.
Sounds almost to good to be true. That said a good addition.Draft Profile
- Chiseled, athletic frame with very good size
- Has blocking toughness and just needs to improve technique
- Snaps hands and hips into engagement
- Good radar in space as move-blocker
- Races off snap and into seam with plus acceleration
- Early speed to lose linebackers
- Nifty, quick feet for sharp directional change in routes
- Talented to work all three levels as receiver
- Former basketball player and it shows
- Able to post up defenders and win body positioning
- Sudden leaper with springs to win at the high-point
- Makes mid-air ball adjustments
- Ability to run past or drag tacklers after catch
He has played very little and will have to be coached up.Sounds almost to good to be true. That said a good addition.

To me it seems he being sold by a used car salesman. Carnzo: your response is priceless relative to my take...Sounds almost to good to be true. That said a good addition.
This kid is green but has a high ceiling. To me it seems he being sold by a used car salesman. Carnzo: your response is priceless relative to my take...
Hopefully my first comment didn't come across as contradicting your opinion because it was lust my take on the summary. I know nothing about him beyond what you posted and I do value the opinions of my knowledgeable co-contributors here, even despite his contrary opinion, BK.This kid is green but has a high ceiling.
I didn't take it negatively. I have thick skin. I can dish it out so I have responsibility to take it.Hopefully my first comment didn't come across as contradicting your opinion because it was lust my take on the summary. I agree but I think its funny when someone can't take it even when nothing is actually being dished out.I didn't take it negatively. I have thick skin. I can dish it out so I have responsibility to take it.
The kid has potential and other teams are interested too. Time will tell if he makes it to the 53 or PS.
I think if hegoes to PS, I think he will get poached.
Sensitive people are not helped much by the green font either.I agree but I think its funny when someone can't take it even when nothing is actually being dished out.
I have a dry sense of humor and most of my questionable posts are a reflection of that and not nearly as biting as others read into them. My friends (yes I have them ) like my wit, but I admit the humor is easier to decode in auditory form than written. I do rub certain persons the wrong way, usually those very insecure about themselves. Honestly, most here do read my posts correctly and while I don't need anyone's approval I enjoy the positive comments back.
I think BB picked him up for two reasons.I didn't take it negatively. I have thick skin. I can dish it out so I have responsibility to take it.

From what I've read about this kid, he's an absolute beast of a blocker. It's his route work and ball handling, not catching that need some heavy duty coaching. We already see it's going to be a run heavy offense.
Which bolsters my point. BB needs a guy who can mix it up now, while his stud TEs heal. From what I've read about this kid, he's an absolute beast of a blocker. It's his route work and ball handling, not catching that need some heavy duty coaching.
And then go to the PS as a developmental player.Which bolsters my point. BB needs a guy who can mix it up now, while his stud TEs heal.
Just 1, his name is Rob Gronkowski....Question: How many Tight Ends does it take to replace Rob Grownkowski?
Answer; 6 or as many Tight Ends the Pats currently have on the roster.
