Interesting signing.....I really do not know much about him other than he is listed as a 6'10 power forward who is 240 and is about the size of Bosh. Interesting line up options with Josh in there along with Bosh and perhaps Chris Andersen as the bigs. Still not sure who will take pressure off of Lebron and Wade if those guys are both staying. Seems like we still need a talented shoot guard and a veteran pg and center.

Another news, it is nice to see the Heat making at least one move as I have been critical of them doing nothing but talking to this point. Lets hope the additions keep coming.

I think our next signings will be at the guard positions(both PG, SG) be it from the outside or bringing back Rio and/or Cole, then maybe another SF/PF... Dont think we will get another C outside of Birdman but hopefully they do... just wouldnt be surprised if they go from within to fill that spot.

Up to the Big 3 to decide to keep it together.

Like I said, despite the flirting Wade and Bosh do/have done with other teams, I expect them to be back eventually - they seem to be willing to do whatever it takes to stay together - the wildcard is King James who often wants to act like a Queen.

Lets hope for the best

Now Granger at two years, $4.2 million. It's happening. This uses Heat $2 million bi-annual exception. Still have $2.2 million trade excep.

The Granger signing is done according to Ira Winderman as well.

You can be sure that the news I bring you is accurate and on point - I usually bring you what the Heat beat guys report and the local miami news folks, who are often clowns but do report as close to accurate as you can get

Tim Reynolds who covers the Heat for AP is mentioning Garrett Temple as the next target - But, I have to warn, if you dont know by now - He likes to mess with fans as he knows people in this city over-react some times, so wait on confirmation on this one.

Getting Temple would be great - He is one of the ones who “got away”

Heat can turn Granger's bi-annual deal into trade-exception move by making it a trade with Clippers, giving L.A. their own trade exception.

Now, after these two signings, not including bring back the big 3 - What would you say should be next for the Heat?

Next would be a starting PG. Isaih Thomas or even (I hate to say it) Jameer nelson. if he can be had at a low cost, it could be a decent move. If Bosh walks that opens alot of $$ to sign Gasol/Morrow and/or Ariza, which should be enough to make LBj stay.

I think we can get Nelson at a low cost - no problem. Isiah is a little younger so getting him on the cheap may not be as easy.

I posted it on the general boards, but Ill post it here to. I hope this is all a ruse and inaccurate, but my gf has a friend who is in lebrons camp. She is always out with Lebron, always posting pictures with him and at his house and clubs with him. Shes a good friend, she said yesterday before the media jumped all over it, that it was going to be a sad day for Heat fans because LBJ is going home. he already made his decision.

Again Im hoping thats wrong, but she is real close with him. Hopefully, this is just all a ploy to get Cleveland fans excited and then Lebron says "Fuck you for burning my jersey" and stays with Miami LOL..

Whether LeBron stays or leaves, can all of us come together, as human beings, and please stop saying the Heat play on South Beach?

Via Tim Reynolds.

This is as true as it gets. The Heat dont play on or near S.Beach. Not a single S.Fla team plays on or near S.Beach for that matter. It has to stop!

I really think that Lebron is headed to Cleveland as well based on the recent signings as well or Bosh is on his way out. Such is life. Granger and McRoberts seem to be plan B contingencies in case Lebron and Bosh leave. Not replacements but guys to field a team. Who knows......

Apparently LBj wanted Riley to go after Mcroberst and they discussed it last week. It would be shitty of LBJ to leave, especially after he stated his desire for Shabazz and we go and get him, when we could have taken someone else who would have been more useful. But oh well i guess. I like Lebron and if he chooses to stay Ill back him and support him, but if he leaves then fuck him. Im loyal to the Heat team, not the player.

We are of a rare breed. Not sure where you live, but there is just not enough of us like that in Miami any more for any of our teams and that just sucks.

I would thank him for his services over the past four years and the two titles. Will remember him in a Heat uniform but won't be cheering for him going forward if he does leave. Just the facts.

More from Ira Winderman with regards to Chris Bosh:
Heat's use of exceptions is a game-changer when it comes to Bosh. There no longer is any need to ask him to take significantly less.In fact, this is the way the Bosh camp wanted it to go. With Heat not needing space, there basically is no need for Bosh to take any cut.To sum up: The storyline of Heat asking Bosh for major cut no longer is a storyline. Plenty of room left before luxury-tax "cliff".
