I’m not a boxing guy, and didn’t watch it, but there was a good size disparity (30 lb and 6” reach), and JP went 6 rounds with a recent heavyweight champion.

Jake Paul knocked out.
It was the most scripted/fixed boxing match I had ever seen. It was clear from the first seconds that Joshua was pulling his punches or missing on purpose. The script was for Paul to lose but be given props for taking Joshua into the deeper rounds.

Paul did this by going to his knees on purpose like a dozen times and eating up the clock.

What Is really scary is how at least half of the major new organization are not calling out this fraud. It's insane.

It wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes if Joshua had gone after him. Through two rounds they landed 14 punches. Combined

How is that even possible.

Netflix would need like 8 Million new subs just to break even. (assuming they would all cancel the sub after the fight.)

Guess he can go back to fighting washed up UFC has-beens now.

And hopefully, boxing in general moves away from his scam.

Those two probably should have never been in the ring together. Paul had never faced a boxer of AJ's caliber.

He still has never faced anyone of AJ's caliber. He fought the bought & paid for AJ ...not the World Champion AJ.

Paul got his jaw broke, so Josh didn't pull all of his punches.

Theses guys are frauds but not stupid.

To sell it at the end ..AJ had to hit with a real shot.

Should have never been sanctioned. Everybody's been saying if he fought a legit fighter he'd end up in a hospital and that's exactly what happened. I can't stand the clown but it could have actually ended up worse for him.

Paul made the ring huge for a reason, and that reason was to basically run away from him and shoot doubles when AJ was in his range. Idiot didn't figure that he'd be completely gassed after 4 rounds. AJ hadn't fought in months and did what he had to do. The ref should have put an end to the weak attempt at MMA. He should have been getting points deducted by the 2nd round and looking at a DQ.

There's not much a boxer can do when his opponent requests a huge ring, is basically running away from him, and any time they get close he's shooting doubles (beyond letting him gas himself out and then take care of business, like he did). I doubt that AJ would agree to a scripted fight given he's been wanting a Fury fight for ages which would be another big payday. You got to respect a guy with 2 hands in there. He obviously didn't expect what Paul came out with, which was basically a mockery of the sport, but he bided his time and did some life altering work to his face at the end.

98 Million for a fight that you are guaranteed to win and you don't even have to do anything.
...and than you get another big payday to fight fury.

That is too much coin for him to say no.

Organizers can't prevent that kind of thing from happening...but they can avoid mismatches. Paul had never done anything in the ring to earn a fight with AJ. Netflix looks kind of bad now...and it could end up worse for them too if they keep this up.
