He's a sure HOFer. 3rd in yards rushing and in the top 10 in yards from scrimmage. His stats stack up pretty well with Bettis and he made the HOF, so I think Gore walks in--not a 1st ballot guy, but definitely gets in.

I'm definitely biased.... but I think he should be a first ballot HOFer
I disagree. Maybe (barely) once in his entire career was he in the discussion of being the best RB in the conference. Let alone the NFL. That is why I think he misses out on being a 1st ballot HOFer.

off-hand Roger Craig is my all time favorite.

Obviously, there's been others and Gore ranks up there too.
