Baseball teams need fresh blood from time to time. He has been the Boston manager since, 03(?), so it was time for him to move on anyway.

He should get a job as soon as he wants one. Would not be surprised to see him go to MLBTV or ESPN for a year or two, though.

He did a hell of a commentary job for FOX during the first couple of games of the ALCS. If nothing else, he could do that.

Thanks for sharing this article. Very Interesting. At the beginning of the year The MLB Network said that Terry Francona is the Best Manager in Baseball. Its Remarkable how the Clubhouse fell apart and the Palyers lost their concentration and desire. Now both Epstein and Francona are gone. At the beginning of the Year it looked like the start of a Dynasty. The Red Sox seemed to have everything. Speed, Power and Pitching. The World Series a Sure Thing.
