The NFL has placed LB Reuben Foster on the Commissioner's Exempt List.

The NFL made the decision very quickly, as the Redskins claimed Foster just over an hour ago. By definition, "A player who is placed on (it) may not practice or attend games, but with club permission he may be present at the facility on a reasonable basis for meetings, individual workouts, therapy and rehabilitation, and other permitted non-football activities." Foster will remain on the Commissioner's Exempt List until the NFL has reviewed the matter, and the Redskins claim they won't play him until the legal process has played out in his domestic violence case.

This ^^^^^ has got to be one of the many reasons why people can't stand the Redskins. The Redskins claim they won't play Foster....like they have a fuckin option to play him, but their gonna do the league a solid and let the NFL review the matter.

Wow, I gotta admit, I was very excited when I heard the news that they went ahead and pulled the trigger. The Redskins legitimately have the blueprint of a championship defense.

I imagine this is more about next year than this year. One could argue we essentially got the two best defensive players in the entire 2017 draft in Allen and Foster. If Allen doesn't get hurt he's most likely the number 1 overall pick. If Foster was clean off the field he would have been a top 10 pick for sure.

If the Giants don't tag Landon Collins, I go hard for him and drop Dix. If they do, I think Dix should get more comfortable by next fall. You add a 1st or 2nd round corner into the mix and that's tough sledding for any offense.

No skin off our back if he gets in trouble again save for some bad PR, but with Dan, Bruce and the circus that is Redskins Park, will anyone really notice or care? Let's go!

Can't convict him without due process especially when the same woman lied about it last time and has been in jail for lying about domestic violence on a past boyfriend as well

He’s been arrested. There is due process. Absolutely. But clearly the nfl agreed. Kudos to the skins for supporting it. Why sign him now? Why not wait till he can play? Poor form.

It was a smart football move if he comes out of it clean or changes his act, it is a PR nightmare by a team that doesn't have any get of jail free cards.
