I'm locked into picking the Commanders to win this "home" game on neutral territory. A win fulfills my season prediction that they would post a 2-2 record after the first four games. Unfortunately, that earlier prediction was based on having Jayden Daniels in the lineup and not Marcus Mariota. As I type this, it is unknown who will lead the offense, so in a highly unusual Forecast Friday, I'll make dual/alternate predictions.
Washington’s defense is playing with confidence, and Mariota’s veteran steadiness gives the Commanders a reliable floor. The Colts will move the ball, but Washington’s ability to control tempo — and Mariota’s mistake‑free style — will tilt this one.
Prediction: Commanders 23, Colts 20. Mariota delivers another efficient performance, and Washington grinds out a second straight win with Daniels sidelined.
If Jayden Daniels starts, Washington becomes the more explosive and less predictable team — and that swings the matchup.
Prediction: Commanders 27, Colts 17. With Daniels starting, Washington has the higher ceiling and the better matchup against Indy's defense.
Here's what they're saying:

They've had their say, I've had mine; now what do you predict?... You know the drill! Good luck!
1. Who wins this game?
2. Final score?
3. Player(s) of the game?
4. Memorial moment, event, or play that will have everyone talking on Sunday night, Monday morning, and the rest of the week? Enjoy the game everyone!
