I know alot of you used to post on the ESPN boards.
It is rumoured right now that a very popular poster Kegtap has passed away over the holidays. He was a big Phillies fan and his brother let people know on the MLB main board.
Im never over here but thought I would let some of you know in case you wanted to go over there and leave your condolences

I thought about posting here, it's just keg wasn't much of a hockey guy. Still, I am sure some folks know him and for those that don't, he was a very knowledgable Phillies and Eagles fan. One of the few true Philly sports fans.

Hmmm name doesn't really ring much of a bell. Sad news just the same, especially around this time of year. I hope he wasn't a young man.

He was only 28, and looking at the obituary I noticed he only lived a few blocks away from me. Apparently the ESPN forums meant a lot to him so this is very sad. I believe he passed away on Christmas Eve or the day before

I do remember kegtap on the ESPN board, he didn't post much, but he knew his stuff. That's sad news.

Wow. I never talked to him, but I knew him. I understood he was a huge Phillies fan and knew his stuff. Posted on the Flyers board a little.


On the ESPN Phills board they are doing Harry Kalas like "KT" avatars.

extremely sad to hear. never good to have this happen around this time of year. God Bless him and his family. I can't even imagine how hard this must be on them. A man who enjoyed posting with others about his passion for his teams. things like this make put all this into a different perspective. Rest In Peace young man and Go Phillies!
