Football team's cheerleaders are out

want to hear the most pathetic reason to not have NFL cheerleaders?

The Bills had a cheerleading squad for years, known as the "Jills". To make a long story short, the whole thing got disbanded when the Jills "rebelled" and insisted on getting paid minimum wage for their time. They had been treated as "independent contractors" and went to court to be classified as employees. The suit eventually got settled, and the Bills quietly decided to simply not have any cheerleaders anymore.

I don't go to games. The only times we get to see cheerleaders now on TV is on the transition from a string of commercials to the game, and the fuckin' networks IMMEDIATELY cover the screen with more advertising logos. We used to at least get a few seconds of stadium ambiance, but with nothing but ads and logos, really, who cares?

Are they going to replace cheerleaders with the same dancing rubbish that's taken over Superbowl halftime shows? I'll be out on the deck grilling.

Dump all cheerleaders in pro football, let that be a HS/college thing. Always been a huge waste of money.

Damn they are doing the most to clean up everything from all those sexual harassments accusations and how the women hated working there.

Pretty interesting the concept of fighting sexual harassments by making things coed which essentially is taking away jobs from women and hiring more men as cheerleaders. They should just make the director of the organizations HR department a woman and promote that like everyone else.

Well, the NFL is not meeting their diversity hiring practices. 100% of the players are male. I smell a lawsuit
