Since I had such low expectations after last year, just competing is my bar this year. I think we likely lose this to a better team on paper. But I legit think we’ve actually got a shot at a W.

Since I had such low expectations after last year, just competing is my bar this year. I think we likely lose this to a better team on paper. But I legit think we’ve actually got a shot at a W.

My feeling is about the same. I want to see them compete this year. We know there are holes that need filling. Potentially our D is pretty good and I would love to see that be true. So many questions on offense, left side of the line, RBs, WRs, QB. I like the way Haskins competes I hope he continues to grow. That should be what we are looking for is for him to continue to grow.

Kendall Fuller is still out

• ESPN's John Keim reports Washington CB Kendall Fuller (knee) is out for Week 2 against the Cardinals.​

  Washington signed Fuller this offseason after he started 15 games for the Chiefs in 2019. Fuller moved around from safety to corner toward the end of the season and could have played a similar hybrid role for Washington versus Arizona. Expect Washington to struggle containing DeAndre Hopkins, who caught 14 passes for 151 yards against San Francisco last week.
