Well another big game against another top western team. It will be nice if we can start the year off right with a spanking of the Wings.. I'm sure a lot of their players are still tired from their participation in the old timers game the other day so let's take advantage of it!:D

Those look delici- HEY! Wait a minute...

Should be an interesting tilt. The Wings have been wildly inconsistent as of late, and the Flyers have been struggling on defense without Pronger.

Looks like Howard v Bobo tonight. Both goalies seem to have confidence issues this year.

Good luck Super, but GO WINGS!

Holy crap, look at what I just found...

That doesn't bode well for a Philadelphia team playing the fourth of a five-game road trip. The Red Wings haven't lost at home to the Flyers since Nov. 4, 1988, going 16-0-0 with two ties and includes two wins in the 1997 Stanley Cup finals.

That's unbelievable, even considering with the new schedule you only see other conference teams at home every other year.

Of course, the Flyers did beat down the Wings 6-0 or something like that in their rebuilding year a few seasons back, so that kind of makes up for a few games, right?

Well the Flyers hadn't lost in Vancouver for 14 games, we know how that turned out!:( Unfortunately I wont be able to see the game as I will be watching the AV's take it to those Nuck-le heads!

The Flyers and Av's need to get on a seperate day schedule!

good luck wing fans, we're gonna need it!;)

I'll be honest..

I have no fucking idea what Flyer's team will show up tonight.

All of a sudden, they have lost their focus and determination. Maybe it's the holidays or the scheduling or Pronger's absence, shitty goaltending killing all of their momentum or just a funk that all teams go through....I don't know, but I do not have a warm and fuzzy feeling about tonights game going the way I want it to.

Having said all of that bullshit........Flyer's win 4-3. :)

LET'S GO FLYERS!!!

Doosh gets the start tonight. At this point, I don't think it matters which goalie is in because they're all going to give up 4 or more no matter what.
