Apparently our twins from the west coast have not watched nor kept up with the Flyers problems in the past. Richie and Carter reunited. Lol. Hey, they can party at the Playboy Mansion I suppose.

there just isn't a player that i would move him for.. they cant move bourdon or gust and have no prospects on the backend (even if they are 3rd pair type guys).. carle maybe, but that's an overpayment for sure and makes the defense weak again.. and basically every forward on the flyers roster would be an overpayment.. i'm left with harry z or mike testwuide as the options, but is that a significant piece?

i actually think its a smart move.. i soured on the olde city gang too, but LA seemingly hasn't forgotten that the flyers were 2 wins away from the cup with carter and richards as the backbone of the team and michael leighton between the pipes

quick is a very significant upgrade to a team that was 2 wins away

I think Ott stays in Dallas or gets moved to Vancouver. That being said, Ott seems to be a fan favorite in Dallas, Niewendyk better be careful about trading these guys. Modano pissed off a lot of fans when he left. Ott would be mo different IMO.

Screw Ott, his cap hit is as high a Jagrs, for what, a 3rd liner. I keep on hearing JVR to Dallas with Ott going the other way, unless Dallas adds Morrow or Benn or alot of 1st rounders, these rumours are such crap.

I really don't want that douchebag in Philly. The only way the deal would work for me is if it was JVR for Ott, Ericcson/Benn & a 1st. Even then Ott would need to be traded away immediately or put on waivers so I don't have to watch the stupidity he calls playing hockey. I can give 2 shits about how many face=offs he wins either, he's a true scumbag like Avery and the Cooke.
