I definitely agree that Trump and Biden both suck. But back to sports:

Fluker just turned 29 and is pretty cheap (2.1% of the cap). Without yet having a real time look at Damien Lewis on the field, I have to like Fluker as the starter this year. But he's a FA next year, so Lewis will likely get his chance pretty soon. Fluker also isn't a guy who stays healthy for a full season.

The better question to me is who is going to start at RT?

I look at this draft, without rookie mini-camp, not OTAs or mandatory team workouts and even the possibility of a reduced training camp, as a talent pool for 2021. I expect that Lewis was drafted so the team could let Fluker walk this offseason. Obviously, they could go full Sweezy here and just let him learn on the job to tap the potential early, but I think they drafted Fluker's replacement when he becomes a free agent next year.

Put Fluker at LG and Damien Lewis at RG. Fluker doesn't have a huge cap hit and I believe that despite his issues in pass protection, he's probably the best guard on the team depending on your thoughts regarding Phil Haynes.

Not sure that Fluker has the lateral speed for LG.

Maybe we need a few bucks of cap space to make a certain free agent signing??

Wow! Hopefully that is a sign that they are looking to free up cap for Clowney.

Looks like we are about to clear up a bunch of cap.

Please let this mean that we are bringing Clowney back!
Well, that would certainly be the good news.

The bad news?

Remaking the OL from C to RT....and doing it in an abbreviated camp/pre-season.

That has to be it. Cant imagine what other direction they would go. And this isnt some random shit. They definitely have a target in mind.

Yeah. I agree with that. I think Britt was a goner no matter what. Fluker is a surprise to me only because he stabilized the line.

Yeah. Someone on Twitter mentioned a move for Ngokue but that would have made more sense before the draft.

I feel like the Seahawks got the players they wanted in the draft, more or less, and now they feel they can make the moves on the OL that we all knew were going to happen.

This gives the Hawks about 21 million in cap space. That means that the Hawks could bring back Clowney and still have enough cash for the draft picks.

So who are the odds-on favorites to start at C, RG, and RT? I know we signed a bunch of backup OLs in free agency. Is one of them a center? We putting the rookie we just drafted at RG? Does Pocic figure in at C or RT?

BJ Finney at Center I would imagine. Lewis will be given the chance at RG. RT is the big question.
